Martins Berzins

Martins Berzins is the co-founder and CEO of FUTURE Sports Group. Martins was founder and CEO of the ALTIUS BASKET Agency from 2017 till 2022 and holds a FIBA basketball agent licence.

From 2010 till 2017 Martins was GM/Sports Director of Basketball club Valmiera and during that time the team won the Latvian Championship (2016) for the first time in its history and reached 7 Latvian 1st Division play-offs, 4 semi-finals, and bronze medals in 2013. In the 2016/2017 season Valmiera won the Baltic Basketball League Cup.

Martins played basketball from age six, becoming the Latvian youth champion four times with his club Rujiena. At junior age, Martins played for Valmiera and during studies he played for Riga Stradins University basketball team.

Martins holds a Bachelor's degree in political science and Master's degree in governance and communication.
